The Midwest is full of railroad action with Short Lines, Regionals and the big Class Ones! C. Vision returns to this railroad rich region in Trains Across the Midwest, Volume 3!
We begin our railroad journey in Wisconsin and follow the Wisconsin and Southern. Running on ex-Milwaukee Road tracks, you will be amazed watching two SD-20s in charge of the Prairie Patrol from Prairie du Chien to Madison. This classy looking train is seen passing two operating wig-wag signals!
Next we head a little further north and watch the Canadian National/ Wisconsin Central. Local train FL-076 is captured operating on ex-Green Bay and Western tracks from Alma Center to Wisconsin Rapids. Then we catch main line movement from Stevens Point to Junction City with plenty of Wisconsin Central power still being used.
Finally, it's off to the Union Pacific's Spine Line. This former Rock Island route from St. Paul, MN to Mason City, IA is a part of the Union Pacific's line to Kansas City. Lots of U.P. action is captured as the big yellow locomotives haul heavy freight and coal on this busy corridor.
Awesome mainline action, diverse Short Lines and Regionals make the Midwest one of the best places to watch trains. C. Vision takes you there in "Trains Across the Midwest, Volume 3"!
